Gentlemen –
Trust you are all safely home after another incredible Yukon Jack, and that you and yours are having a better weekend than Cal…
Our usual good time was had by all, as we enjoyed the fine cuisine of Chef Tom and Chef Artie, the great selection of wines and beers, days in the sunshine, evenings around the table, and wonderful conversation shared by good friends.
As we discuss every year, these weekends continue to get better and better. It's a tribute to us all, that the Yuke continues to be a highlight of our year.
Mike, on behalf of all the Gentlemen, many thanks once again to you and your families for this gift we are privileged to receive each year.
Congratulations to Alan Metheny, your 2021 Yukon Jack Champion. Welcome to the pantheon of players who have taken home the coveted Yuke bottle…5 times!
Al battled a small, but pesky and talented field, taming a challenging, windy, unknown Toiyabe Golf Club course and posting a net 71 (gross of 80).
His creative strategy of a Bloody Mary before the first tee, then segueing to Coronas every 3rd or 4th hole really paid off!
There was a tie for 2nd place between Erik and Fearless (net 76), and yours truly claimed 3rd place (net 77)
THE GALLERY PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH several pictures OF THE WEEKEND, UNDER THE 2021 BANNER, so we can relive some of the wonderful moments of the YUKE.
The Gar Woods run, and VARIOUS Sunset pictures capture the momentS very well and will be available on the Gift Shop page...
To those of you who were unable to join us, you were certainly missed, and we hope you'll be able to be with us again next year!
If I can ask a bookkeeping favor so I can keep things up to date, can each of you reply to this email with your preferred;
- Email address
- Cell Phone Number
OK, I've rambled on enough! Hope this finds you and yours doing well, and looking forward to Fall, a wonderful holiday season...and an even better post-season for your 2021 Western Division Champion San Francisco Giants!
Let's try and rally the troops sometime during the holidays! The 'fish? Canyon Club?
Thanks to each of you for your continued friendships and the memories we continue to make! Our hearts are full!
Until we meet again…stay healthy, stay safe.
I’ll see you on the deck...
