Update, September 25 (9/25/17)

Gentlemen of the Yukon Jack -

In just a few days we shall gather, feast, drink, play and reconnect, on the shores of the largest alpine lake in North America, dubbed the "Lake of the Sky" by the Washoe. It's the Yukon Jack week, and I know you're all looking forward to this weekend as much as I.

First, a heartfelt "Thank You" from all of us to Mike and the Adams and Cook families for once again allowing us to come to Glenbrook. It is a privilege we don't take lightly, and we are grateful for each and every opportunity!

Also, for those of you who can't join us, we will miss your company, raise a glass to your absence, and sincerely hope you can join us again next year!

As always, the weekend begins on Thursday afternoon, with the house opening at 3p. Should the weather hold, we'll hopefully enjoy a boat ride over to Garwood's to see if we can break our personal best of a $650 bar tab. Then back to the house for opening night dinner.

I have arriving on Thursday (15) - Adams, Banducci, Farwell, Hann, Hartwell, Hochmuth, Horner, Kane, Pehanick, Penny, Roeth, Trutner, Trutner, Trutner, Yarris.

Friday will see bike rides, betting, booze and the coveted time on the deck to stare out at the lake to remind ourselves how lucky we are.

Arriving on Friday (6) - Balousek, Metheny, Roach, Schlaak, Schwartz, Wiley

Saturday is the day for the 40th Yukon Jack Golf Championship, this year at the St. Andrews of the Yuke rota, OLD GREENWOOD. Green fees are $100, payable in the pro shop prior to the round. Our first tee time is 11a.

Looks like we have a full contingent of players this year. Take a look at the list below - if you're on it, you've indicated that you would like to play.

Let me know ASAP, if you're not on this list, and would like to play OR if you're on it and don't want to play.

We'll do the drawings for grouping during cocktails on Friday, which will be the last chance to lobby for handicaps. In addition, we should be able to get back to the house in time for the 7:30 Cal / Oregon kickoff (and will also mean Joe has to haul ass back to the house at the end of the round to make the 5p Washington kickoff). Justin, I was going to make some snide remark about Stanford at 1p, but you might have your hands full with a suddenly, on the map ASU team!

Saturday will also see a viking funeral where we pile a raft full of Giants and A's gear, set it aflame and send it out in to the middle of the lake...

Here are the yearly reminders...

 - Code to get in to Glenbrook is #6-4-1-5

 - Please bring a sleeping bag, your own pillow, and your own towel

 - I'll do my best to get the bills out by early Saturday. As a reminder, you have the ability to settle up through payPal, through a link on the site. There's a % fee for paying. On the other hand, you can use a credit card and get miles for enjoying paradise for 4 days. Such a deal!

On this 10th anniversary of the only Yuke Snow-out (2007),  it looks like Indian Summer conditions for us. The link to the right, will give you the 10-day forecast!

I think that's about it. Hit me up on my cell if you need anything (also on the right side of the site).

I think that's about it! Looking forward to seeing each of you, and enjoying some time together! Safe travels wherever you are coming from, and we'll see you soon!

Flip the last card,

Kirkles
