Gentlemen of the Yukon Jack -
Summer is upon us, which means it's time to start thinking about the lazy, hazy, crazy days that lie within. Hope you and yours are already planning a an awesome vacation season filled with adventure, exploration and time well-spent.
And theme parks.
However, as the summer winds down, once again we shall gather on the shores of Glenbrook Cove, stare across the ever-rising waters of Lake Tahoe, renew our friendships and count our blessings.
CIRCLE THE DATES....
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 THROUGH SUNDAY, OCTOBER 1.
The golf committee is furiously doing recon on courses throughout the Tahoe basin to find the proper course - one that will test us, bring out our best, and provide 2016 Yukon Jack champion David Farwell a stern challenge as he sets out to become the first back-to-back champion in 16 years; (Justin Roach 1999-2000 - Squaw Valley / Edgewood)
Looks to be another great sports weekend, as well - FOOTBALL - in the college ranks, Cal at Oregon, Georgia at Tennessee, Clemson at Va Tech...in the Pros, Raiders at the Broncos, 'niners at the Cardinals, Ole Miss at Alabama... BASEBALL - Both the A's and Giants continue their strong pursuit of higher draft choices. The Giants are wrapping up the season with the Padres at home, while the A's are in Texas to finish it out.
